There seems to be a new free to play MMORPG released every week these days, but even with the immense growth of the genre, very few MMORPGs are Mac compatible. Considering Mac users only make up for ~5% of the market share for operating systems, it’s not surprising that most game developers opt not to develop Mac compatible versions of their MMORPGs. The only MMORPGs Mac users can usually play are browser MMORPGs, but after Googling around for a bit, I learned that some client based MMORPGs are also Mac compatible. 3D Fantasy MMORPG that sort of looks like Runes of Magic and World of Warcraft. The game’s graphics are very impressive for a browser game.
Eve Online
An Epic in Depth 3D Sci-fi MMORPG with a strong emphasis on PvP.

A 3D MMORPG developed by Cartoon Networks.

Second Life
Second Life is a surprisingly in depth 3D virtual world developed and published by Linden Labs. It’s not exactly a traditional “game” much like the other titles listed here, but more of a social virtual world than anything else.
